MARCUS MILLICHOPE JOINS CONCRETE
Concrete, one of Soho''s leading high-end post-production facilities, is delighted to announce the appointment of Marcus Millichope as Senior Smoke Artist.
Millichope joins from M2, where he was Senior Editbox and Smoke Artist from 2004, with credits including the design and creation of titles for Holby City. "I have had a number of offers from other facilities over the last couple of years but until now have not been tempted to move," says Millichope. "Everything about Concrete feels right and I''m very pleased to be joining a facility that is very much on the up." Marcus states.
"We have wanted to bring Marcus to Concrete for some time," David Cox confirms, the company''s Joint MD. "He is one of the very best in the business and will fit perfectly into Concrete''s already strong team of creatives. We are particularly excited that he will be working again with Chris Jennings, our Creative Director, with whom he enjoyed a very productive relationship at M2 on projects such as the title sequence for Waking the Dead."
Having joined Telecine as a Runner in 1989, Marcus worked his way up to Editbox Operator before moving in 1997 to design specialists XTV as Henry Editor. He then moved on to The Farm as Senior Editbox Operator in 2000, where his credits included title design for Grumpy Old Men and all visual effects on the first series of The Mighty Boosh.
